Who Started CommFix?

CommFix was founded in the Sunshine Coast, Australia by two inspired Apple followers in 2009.

Firstly, Tony McMahon is ‘Managing Director’ of CommFix Pty Ltd, He has had many years of experience in the Apple Computer Service Industry; Tony brings with him a wealth of knowledge and a can do attitude from his previously successful service business ‘Dr Mac’.

The second Partner is a Business Angel Investor who is the ‘Chief Visionary Officer’ for CommFix Pty Ltd, He brings all his expertise from over 30 years of experience to make the operation happen on a larger scale.

How it came about?

After quickly realising that there is a huge problem with Australia’s ‘slow’ service industry, They got cracking and ‘CommFIX’ was born, an iPhone/iPad Service Centre that provides instant service and repairs Australia Wide.

Over the years Australians have become so use to waiting ‘3 or 4 weeks’ for repairs of general items, They only dream of sending something in to get fixed and getting it back straight away.

Especially in the iPhone market where 8-week repair times are considered Normal. That is ludicrous.
